Northcliff Resources Ltd. is a mineral development company, based in Vancouver, which trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol NCF. It holds a controlling interest in and is the operator of the Sisson Tungsten-Molybdenum Project located in New Brunswick, Canada.
The Sisson Project hosts a large tungsten-molybdenum deposit. Northcliff began work at Sisson in 2010, and since that time has engaged in programs of drilling, engineering and environmental studies designed to advance the Sisson Project. A positive Feasibility Study was completed in 2013. The Sisson Project has also been through the environmental assessment process and received both provincial and federal government approvals. The current areas of focus are to secure construction and operating permits, off-take agreements and project financing.
Located in eastern Canada near tidewater, the Sisson Project would be an important source of tungsten for North America and Europe.
Global economic growth and the lack of secure supply outside of China is contributing to an increase in the market and pricing for tungsten, which is expected to provide favourable conditions for development of the Sisson Project.
