Northcliff Resources Ltd. is a mineral development company, based in Vancouver, Canada and associated with Hunter Dickinson Inc. (HDI). It holds a controlling interest in and is the operator of the Sisson Tungsten-Molybdenum Project located in New Brunswick, Canada. Northcliff trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol NCF.
The Sisson Project hosts a large tungsten-molybdenum deposit. Since its work on the project began in 2010, Northcliff has been engaged in programs of drilling, engineering and environmental studies designed to advance the Sisson Project through feasibility and into permitting. The Feasibility Study is complete and confirms the project is economically viable. In July 2013, the company submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment report to federal and provincial agencies for regulatory and public review, after which project permitting would be initiated.
Northcliff is well positioned to become a major North American producer of tungsten.
Located in eastern Canada near tidewater, the Sisson Project would be an important source of tungsten for North America and Europe.
In addition, economic growth in developing countries is contributing to an increase in the market and pricing for tungsten. These conditions are expected to accelerate in the medium to long term providing favourable conditions for development of the Sisson Project.
